The monsters are back
This playful campaign marks the reintroduction of Mucosolvan’s iconic characters — whimsical “monsters” originally created years ago but long absent from the brand’s visual identity. While the design team refreshed and modernized their look for today’s audience, the concept spotlights their comeback with a charming, nostalgic twist.
My role was to bring these monsters to life using AI — crafting animation and storytelling that reimagined their personality and purpose. To celebrate their return to the brand world, I developed a film that showcases their revival and reclaims their place in the Mucosolvan universe.

As part of this project, I created animated GIFs that reactivated each character’s personality, making them accessible across various platforms.
Overall I produced three films: one overarching piece featuring Lilly and Billy, highlighting the meaning behind each monster; a dedicated film for the China conference to reintroduce them to the Chinese market; and a tailored version for European audiences.
The film on the left is the original version, tailored specifically for the Chinese market, reintroducing the monsters to audiences there.
While the version on the right is adapted for European audiences.
